Why we need more mid heel shoes - Designers, 5'' shoes are WAY to high!

I experience we need to talk most loftier heeled shoes. Specifically why they need to exist so high? Is that really necessary designers? Is it non ok just to add together a little summit, say 2", do we really need 5". Do those really high heeled shoes really expect good on anybody? Do we really want to cede our health and our sanity for style?

Why do nosotros need super high heel shoes?

For height?

If you are short then yous would do good from some actress height. I still desire to look proficient and yes despite all the risks etc. I nonetheless want to wear loftier heeled shoes in certain occasions. I like the elegance of information technology and like the extra height it gives to my legs. But I want a decent height! Something I can walk on and look comfortable in. And no, I exercise Not desire a sensible shoe. I want a decent tiptop shoe, that is trendy, fashionable AND comfortable. And I'thousand sure so do millions of other 40+ women. It but seems that all the heeled shoes I see in shops these days are for twenty+ trend setters and way likewise high. I can't remember how many times I bumped into shoes I really liked but would never consider buying because they were just likewise high.

Here is one of my own examples

The grey and black shoes above are my favorite shoes always. I have had them for more than ten (!) years and they still look kinda expert. They are great quality, I think they still look electric current AND they are comfortable. I knew instantly at the fourth dimension that these were not bad and luckily I bought ii pairs. They are starting to expect a footling bit more worn out at present though, just I cannot throw them away, because when I need a heeled shoe that I volition exist able to walk in for any amount of time, these are e'er my get to shoes. That material cuts into my toes, and so these shoes have started to become unwearable.

Yesterday, while I was shopping with a reader who is visiting Singapore from San Francisco (more on that later) I bumped into these Ecco shoes (higher up right). They looked like my favorite shoes, alas a trendier version, so even though I was not in shoe buying mood, I decided to try them on. They felt comfortable immediately due to some padding in the shoes and in the end I decided to buy them. Think, it's 10 years since I bought my favorite shoes and I never see anything similar.

Even these shoes are as well high heeled as they are 9 cm, 3.five" tall. Information technology's compensated somewhat by the higher and padded sole which makes the actual height about 8 cm (three.1"), just still. I would definitely have preferred them lower. Information technology is a gamble and I'm just hoping that these shoes will be wearable and as comfy as my beloved sometime blackness heels. I can't imagine wearing heels that are higher than this though, and then that volition be the absolute limit for me. How exercise women walk in 5" heels?

Designers, if you lot want 40+ women to buy more shoes, create more mid heel fashionable shoes!

I similar shoes. I want to wear stylish shoes with heels, just whenever I see a shoe I similar, it's always likewise loftier. I'm sure I would be tempted so much more if designers would just lower their heel elevation designs a flake . This is too one reason why I practice most of my shoe shopping in Holland. Few women in Kingdom of the netherlands wear these really high heels and they tend to be more practical. So a few more than options there in the mid heel range.
